Action Coalitions Converge on Washington, DC to Transform Health Care Through Nursing

February 28-March 1, 2013, Action Coalitions from 50 states and the District of Columbia convened in Washington, DC for the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action Summit 2013: Transforming Health Care Through Nursing. More than 200 diverse leaders from nursing, medicine, business, health systems, philanthropy, and academia came together and shared innovative ideas for transforming health care and improving health. The blueprints for action developed by every state over the two days have accelerated the on-the-ground momentum.

The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action is working to ensure the conditions necessary to guarantee the health of all Americans and provide access to high-quality, patient-centered health care.
